Recipe for a Trumpeter Swan Nest...

*Sisal (biodegradable-environmentally friendly): 1/4" 50 ft. $3.00

*Take 9 feet of loose straw, form into a donut shape, with centre hole 3 feet or bigger...

*Wrap Sisal cord around loose straw to hold straw into the donut shape...

*Knot Sisal when straw is nicely into a very large donut shape...

*Done!

*Take straw donut to a nice place near to water, possibly near long grasses, away from dogs, possibly on an island, or in a marsh area where Trumpeter Swans like to swim...

*Place Straw donut in that nice place & is you like add:

* loose straw in the middle of the donut as a floor/ or * wild bird seed to attract the swans initially & bring loose straw for the floor next time...

*Pat yourself on the back...
