155 Tycos drive Toronto Ontario Canada Ulockit Mini storage facility

Wed, Aug. 11, 2010: Called
1-800-268-6060 Ministry of the Environment, (after calling regular number & getting voicemail...) Spoke to a guy who said he'd file a report but that I really should call The Food Inspection Agency 416-665-5055...(like, does anyone WORK at these ministries or do they just pass the buck until you give up trying...???)

Tues: Aug. 10, 2010 Got a phone message from Toronto Board of Public health 416 338-8505 "ari kahn?" that I should really contact The Ministry of the Environment...this after TWO WEEKS of waiting for a response...

(letter sent by email to Dare Foods & to Toronto Public Health...no answer from either...?)(Public Health Voicemail at Media relations said on vacation...that is comforting...)
Hello,
Dare Foods has a location on Tycos drive...I recently was a client of Ulockit Mini storage which is the next door neighbour to Dare Foods...The storage facility is not air conditioned nor dehumidified at all...The Particleboard (or compositeboard) is "offgassing" fumes...Which is documented in high humidity high temperatures...I noticed that the fumes are outside of the facility as well, & have been drifting along Tycos almost to Dufferin...I also noticed the silo at your plant, & looked to see wh was there...I saw many bags of flour being put into a truck...It looks like the offgassing from your neighbour is entering the flour supply...
I emailed the Toronto Board of Public health, & called Home Depot (because I assumed they had sold the board to Ulockit, being their back door neighbour...)
  I thought I should write...
I think the "glue" or "melamine" in the flour supply in Toronto may have come from the offgassing from the Ulockit facility.
I noticed also that the Ulockit facility at College street had the same particleboard & the same offgassing (which is why I had switched to the Tycos location, thinking it was a city problem...)
I'm pretty sure this is a big health hazard...I might venture a guess that the board that I saw was maybe three years old tops...It looked almost brand new...
Someone at the College facility told me that offgassing was impossible because the board was 30 years old...
The board looked brand brand new, & the person at Home Depot told me particleboard does not age well at all...
  I would check into this...
Good luck...(Please, no need to quote my name to the parties I am reporting on...for my sake...thanks...)

Particle Board purchased 3 years ago is outgassing glue & resin fumes to the next door neighbour , a silo, storing & distributing flour to the world...(turns out the silo is for flour, they ship tons of flour from here, this is a Dare Foods -Dare cookies operation, but mostly it looks like a flour distribution facility-from seeing hundreds & hundreds of bags of flour being loaded into a huge open truck...)

The glue has entered the flour next door to the storage facility...

Outgassing has been caused by high humidity & temperature...

(Why are there such high temperatures in Toronto right now? Well, locations that sit under flight paths in Toronto have less ozone protecting them, so the sun is shining much harsher in those locations than elsewhere...Air traffic cuts holes in the ozone layer...thus, High humidity & temps caused by Ozone holes due to airplanes above lockit plant...)

Board sourced from Home Depot next door...

Home Depot sourced board from lumber yard...

dehumidifier being offered to Ulockit facilities- also at College street & Spadina...

this is the root cause of melamine, so to speak, in wheat gluten, flour supply, past three years...

p.s. the outgassing of glue fumes from the hot humid particleboard at the Ulockit facility is being blown with the wind all the way down Tycos to Dufferin street & elsewhere...The air quality in that neighbourhood is highly questionable right now...I wonder if my email to the Toronto Board of Public health will get read? Or my phone messages? (since they were on vacation when I called...)
