Thoughts on H1N1

If this H1N1 is closer to trichinosis than a cold or flu, then uppers like caffeine, coffee or tea, nicotine, smoking or nicorette gum, garlic oils, oregano oils , ginseng should make you feel much better as opposed to trying to solve it by taking downers, such as cold medicines, sleeping pills or alcohol...Anything that speeds up your metabolism should improve your condition, treating this thing like some rotten food you ingested...Things that slow you down, things you might treat a cold with, might make this last longer...Though I don't smoke, I have been chewing nicotine gum just for the metabolic boost & finally am feeling better- red Bull which contains ginseng should help too...just sharing this in case your weekend was spent snuffling like mine...
