Improvements are Devolvement ?

So... I tried to put a cool new Blogger template up...I immediately lost my Blog links...Then I lost my other updates on the sidebar...I tried the adding image urls to the edit html part...Didn't work...After uploading a few other "cool new Blogger templates" & screwing up some more, I have now reduced this blog to the most simple default...So much for improving things...Lesson learned...Improving is often devolving...Big Sigh...

p.s. I think I won't frame my new painting...I see framing as an improvement, but after learning this morning the hard way, I am going to use this a metaphor to just leave well enough alone...The painting of the bull above might actually look better unframed...so might my wallet...

Ok, Possibly I eat my words...I went to the Butterfly Magic template on the free Blogger templates website K2 somethin' & read the comments about the template, which included my very question, which was how to take away the links to the designer's profile...Turns out you go into the edit html page, under layout page, & scroll through the code, removing his website links & putting in your own...Now I have a beautiful new Blog! Ok, so now does this mean I should try to improve my paintings by framing them? sigh...
